Lilly Attempts to Smear Critic

Eli Lilly & Co., the makers of Prozac, has conducted an extensive smear campaign

in the media and elsewhere against Dr. Breggin. Because the drug company has

been unable to counter the extensive scientific criticisms published in Dr.

Breggin's books, including Talking Back to Prozac, Lilly has chosen to attack

him personally. Eli Lilly & Co. has also wanted to discredit Dr. Breggin's

testimony as a medical expert on behalf of plaintiffs in product liability suits

against the drug company.

Dr. Breggin has published two responses to the drug company's unjust and

unfounded personal attacks.
