Guest guest
Dear Group: As of December 2002, there is a new egroup for those of us that are using alternative therapies to overcome mental conditions. This new egroup is at www.safeharbor2 Over time, this new egroup holds great promise to be a very exciting place. Some of us that are using alternative therapies have been quite successful in reducing bipolar and other mental symptoms. This egroup should help us to both learn from and teach each other, such that what we are doing becomes more well developed. All the very best, Allen Darman
Guest guest
Allen, What is bipolar? I have been told that 2 of my sister-in -laws have it? The only thing that I see in them is that they have a very bad temper and sometimes can't seem to control it. - <sdarman1 Sunday, January 26, 2003 6:32 AM New egroup for alternative therapies for mental conditions > Dear Group: > > As of December 2002, there is a new egroup for those of us that are > using alternative therapies to overcome mental conditions. Guest guest
Bi polar is a very serious type of depression, similar in nature to manic depression. Try this link for further details http://www.pendulum.org/ (I am not affiliated to this site in any way and have no idea if they sell anything but it looked like a good information site). Guest guest
Bi Polar is not temper that is bad edecut. Bi-Polar is when the snapossis in the brain dont work at all. you are suppose to have chemicals in the brain to keep you from going to high or to low mood wise. But with bi-polar you dont have them so you might be happy one moment then so sad you cant stand it the next. With most of us if some one in our support circle distracts us and says a key words set up before hand then we will walk away from the problem . I usual take a time out and have a cup of coffee. You could offer to help . (Not Critsise) Just set up a sygnle to her to let her know. We can talk more if you like there are a lot of other things that go with Bi-Polar.Some times they just need comfort for a unknown reason. I have been diagnosed bi polar2 an treeted for over 20 years and now leed a mostly normal life. I would be willing to help you. If I don't know the answer for you then I will ask my therapist. I am maried and raised a son who is now 22yrs old. Who is also bi-polar. dachshund_minies http://www.geocities.com/dachshund_minies You can check out pictures of my dogs ateither of these sights, or just e-mail to talk. Mail Plus - Powerful. Guest guest
I didn't meen you were mean. I was just trying to explain lightly what BI-polar is. That all of us with mental proublems need a suport system. And if not carfull the person you are trying to calm down could take it as a threat that is why it all needs to be discused a head of time. Bi-Polar has a lot of physical side afects also. That doctors wont tell you about.you can e-mail me privatly any time and I will try to emotionaly suport and help you. A lot of times a say things backward and don't meen to. dachshund_minies http://www.geocities.com/dachshund_minies You can check out pictures of my dogs ateither of these sights, or just e-mail to talk.
