Guest guest
Hello! This seems like a very educated and informed group.I have only joined very recently but have been reading all the posts which come to me in the form of a digest. I have a question and was wondering if anyone either had an answer or could point me in the correct direction. I have a friend who is very bright, left brain oriented but who has recently failed times two a major exam that will determine her career. In observing her I have noticed an inability to sit still (up and down during chess games , but wins each time), flicking between two-three television stations at the same time and cannot focus long enough to study.Although I know she desires to pass this exam it is clear to me that she cannot focus. She has also expressed restlessness at night , having a hard time sleeping and feels like she wants to " pull her legs and arms off " . (anxiety??)I think she may be an undiagnosed Add adult or may be she has some sort of anxiety disorder? I could be really wrong about this. She seems to have a hard time with swallowing anything and is adverse to taking vitamins etc We are both against the pharmeceutical approach to issues. Would anyone have any ideas on what the issues are and what the ideal approach would be? I feel that a good multiviatmin, coupled with increase niacin, Vit.B etc would be ideal. BTW.. She is in her late twenties and has been in the USA since age of 12 yrs. Upon her arrival to the USA she has developed all sorts of allergies and blows her nose throughout the day. The biggest issue that is happening right now is her inability to sit still and focus which is interferring with her ability to successfully negotiate this exam. Any and all help would be appreciated.Thank you so much in advance. Namaste Lipstick AKA Mary Jo
