Niki Rae, the following are also extremely good for reducing BP

celery, onion, tomato, broccoli, purslane, fennel & carrot

hawthorn berry, valerian (which should be taken only at night as it has

sedative properties.

I agree, sometimes we have a whole bulb of garlic between us with our meal

(lovely roasted in my Garlic Roaster with EVOO) and I have never been told

that I smell of garlic.

Hi Niki Rae,

The natural way or natural medicine to lower your blood pressure is to eat fresh

Garlic on daily basis, say for example 2 to 4 small gloves twice a day, I am

sure after one week you will see lots of difference, and after one week get your

blood pressure checked by your doctor and I am sure even your doctor will be

surprised. I know that there is unpleasant oddur, if any one wants to keep

his/her health with natural medicine, then we have to tolerate the bad oddure

for a while.

thanks

In cultures where lots of garlic is used in cooking, I'll bet

nobody thinks a garlic eater has bad odour. Personally, I am now

eating about 3 bulbs of garlic per week in cooking to help keep my

immune system in tip-top shape during the coldest part of the year (I

work outside) and not one of my friends has commented on any bad

odours. New Orleans is not a particularly heavy garlic eating

culture, although there is probably more here than in some parts of

the US because of the high percentage of Italian Americans.

I sure know the garlic works. My blood pressure is already low and I

have been taking the garlic lately for a cold. Now my blood pressure is

really low....

Hi,

I am glad that the oddure of garlic does not bother you, but try on daily basis

and not cooked garlic, But use fresh garlic, because cooked garlic is loosing

its essincial volatile oils and its value.
