I too tossed some of the green powdery stevia. Later found out that the

green stuff is usually from the leaves of the plant.

The best stevia seems to come from the root and will be either a clear liquid

of a pretty white powder.

Would be pleased to find a source for root stevia if anyone has had a good

experience!

******Mary and Barbara, et al.....

I had been using Sweet & Low for my sweetener. Then I heard of Stevia. I

purchased a box of 100 packets at a health food store. I keep some in my

purse for when we eat out. One time I discovered I had used my last packet

from my purse. So I used the restaurant's S & L.

Yuck!!! The S & L was soooo sweet by comparison. I did not finish the iced

tea. I have " adjusted " to the less sweet taste of the Stevia and much prefer

it.

there's hope for me yet! LOL

Below is the url for " Now " brand Stevia which is what I use.
