have no further knowledge of this & no idea of its effectiveness.

I usually prefer treatments one can do oneself at home rather than

paying professionals, but in this case, I am passing on info on a

professional service because it seems to have a novel approach which

some may wish to look more deeply into.

" TERMINAL " CANCER PATIENTS OVERCOME GRIM PREDICTIONS By: Eric T.

Richter

 

Armed with psycho-neuroimmunology and a powerful vaccine created from

a patient's own blood and cancer cells, a Mexican doctor claims an 80

to 85 percent success rate in curing even " terminal " cases of cancer.

 

Geronimo Rubio, M.D.., is a warm, empathetic doctor who comes from a

family of healers. Because of his Indian heritage, it is within his

nature to incorporate herbs and holistic therapies alongside orthodox

medical treatments at Saint Joseph Hospital in La Mesa, just a few

miles south of the border in Mexico. Fully licensed and certificated

by the Mexican Health Department, the hospital is affiliated with

American Metabolic Institute, its administrative arm located in an

upscale office building in Bonita.

 

Most of the patients Dr. Rubio sees are rejects from American doctors

who have Stage 4 cancer, so advanced there is nothing that can be

done for them with American medicine.

 

" They've been told to go home and make their will, " Dr. Rubio said.

Yet despite the grim predictions of his American counterparts, Dr.

Rubio says some of his patients, including those who had pancreatic,

brain and kidney cancer, are still alive 10 years after his

controversial but apparently effective treatment.

 

So, what's the secret of Dr. Rubio's success where others have

woefully failed in the United States, where chemotherapy, surgery and

radiation are some of the few treatment options that are legal for

cancer?

 

" The key is immunotherapy, " Dr. Rubio explained. " We use specific

vaccines to recognize the cancer and destroy the cancer. " These

specific vaccines developed by Dr. Rubio impart an intelligence to

the patient's own immune system, which becomes stimulated to seek out

and destroy the cancer.

 

Part of the problem has been that in the cancer patient, the immune

system cannot " see " the tumor cells. Through a biopsy procedure, Dr.

Rubio extracts a portion of the tumor, which is then cultured 'in

vitro' in the laboratory. He then introduces white blood cells from

the patients' own body to the living mass of tumor cells, which

without their protective protein encapsulation are attacked as a

foreign body.

 

The white blood cells, thus educated, are reinjected into the

patients' body as the specific vaccine, and within 14 to 21 days are

able through RNA transference, to direct fellow lymphocytes to seek

out, destroy and conquer the cancer. " Our goal is to give the

'memory' of the tumor to the white blood cells to attack, " said Dr.

Rubio. " What is more dynamic than the immune system, and using our

own body to fight the disease? "

 

In addition to the vaccine therapies, orthodox cancer therapies and a

number of holistic therapies are incorporated into an individualized,

multi-disciplinary treatment program. The negative effects of

chemotherapy and radiation are counteracted through the use of

special detox baths and diets. A cleansing program may include

colonics, chelation, sauna and clay therapies, along with a purer

diet of fresh organic vegetables and juices, herbal teas, and natural

foods free of yeast, sugar, white flour and dairy products.

 

Dr. Rubio incorporates psycho-neuroimmunology to help the patient

battle the disease as well. A counseling program incorporates

emotional and positive attitude therapy. " Emotion is the key, " Dr.

Rubio said. " The patient has to accept the tumor, but be strong

enough to release it out of their body. "

 

Costs for the program, which typically lasts from one to five weeks,

run 40 to 70 percent less than programs in the United States,

according to William Fry, American Metabolic Institute's director.

Many procedures are fully reimbursable through medical insurance.

What isn't covered for the alternative health treatments is an

out-of- pocket expense.

 

Despite his apparent success where others have failed, Dr. Rubio is

reluctant to criticize his American counterparts or their methods.

" Our goal is to respect everybody and whatever works, " he said.

" We're very open and honest and want success for the patient. "
