I know nothing about Erythritol but do have some concerns about the first

website. I can't put much trust or credibility in a site that also states

Aspartame and Ace-K are safe and good sweeteners. I will keep looking for more

info.

I also looked it up because I know that we can be blinded with their rubbish

and take things that are really bad for us.

I looked up Erythritol & did not find anything much except by

the industry which promotes its use. Let us say I am dubious for

now as to its safety. Below are a few snippets of what I did find.

I just do not like the idea of chemicals which are absorbed into the

blood thru the intestines, but serve no purpose whatsoever & which

then must be removed by the kidneys. Excerpts plus referencing URLs

below:

+++++++++++++++++++++++++

ERYTHRITOL is a safe sugar substitute which is safer than aspartame

and saccharin and tastes better and is easier to use than stevia.

It looks and cooks like sucrose with no aftertaste and supplies only

about 0.2 Calorie per gram! Essentially none! It has a pleasant

cooling effect in the mouth and ranks a zero on the glycemic index.

Presently a sensation in Japan, it is only just being introduced in

the USA. Can not be used by harmful bacteria or yeast in the mouth or

gut. Rated GRAS by the FDA, This is a top choice for diabetics and

low-carb diets.

These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug

Administration. These products are not intended to diagnose, treat,

cure or prevent any disease.

Erythritol is a sugar alcohol (polyol) which is absorbed

from the small intestine in substantial amounts, not metabolized in

the human body, and therefore excreted in the urine.

Ken - reading the info on these sites I would say without hesitation that I

will be steering well clear of the product which is why I posted the sites

that I found. None of them would inspire me to use the product.
