Guest guest
Some supplements should be discontinuted prior to medical and dental surgical procedures. Several commonly used herbs have the potential to increase postoperative bleeding: feverfew, garlic, ginkgo, ginseng. Others can interact with local or general anesthetics, or Rx analgesics: St. John's Wort, valerian, ephedra (Ma Huang), Kava, echinacea. Vitamin E can also cause problems with bleeding, and vitamin C can interfere with the action of local anesthetics. +++++++++++ Don't miss out - get your free sample copy of The Holistic Dental Digest PLUS = information you're not likely to get elsewhere -- by replying to jmittelman with your PO Box or street address. Guest guest
Nobody should be taking ephedra (ma huang) in the first place - it is really bad for you.
