Fwd: REAL Acid Reflux treatment

Hi XXX,

Some of the most heavily advertised prescription drug commrcials are

for Ant-Acid drugs to treat Acid Reflux disease. The market is so

huge and the markup of the drugs are so great that drug companies can

assure a steady stream of new customer-patients.

Dr.Bruce West,MD in his newsletter Health Alert presented a very

compelling analysis of how the standard ant-acid drugs usually fail

and often make matters much worse. Most often the problem arises from

a diagnostic assumption that because stomach acid backs up into the

esophagus, it means that the patient has too much acid.

This is very often wrong. The stomach is designed to digest food in an acid

medium, if digestion is completed then your stomach passes the food

on to the small intestine. If the food is not completely digested the

small intestne refuses to accept it so the stomach shoots it back up

the esophagus, which is not designed to handle the acidic partially

digested food.

Often the reason for the incomplete digestion--

especially as people get older is a LACK of sufficient Acid, exactly

the opposite of the knee-jerk diagnosis of too much acid. This error

turns out to be a disaster leading to a future cascade of really

serious health problems, that come from the inability to get

nutrients your body needs from eating and digestion. What I am saying

is that your body is systematically eing starved of essential

nutrients. The consequences can be disastrous.

The signs of low stomach acid are bloating, belching, burning after

meals, feeling too full, finding food still in the stomach hours

after eating, poor and thin fingernails, poor hair quality and broken

capillaries.

There are many invasive and expensive tests for stomach

acid levels. There is an easy simple test. Take a tablet of Zypan, a

combination of digestive enzymesincluding betaine

hydrochloride,pancreatin and pepsin.

Zypan is a supplemrnt made by Standard Process Laboratories. If digestion

improves and you feel better increse to 2 or 3 per meal and judge the response.

It is a rare instance that a burning sensation is caused by an ulcer, but if

burning or tingling occurs after taking Zypan, you may have an ulcer

or a severe case of gastritis( usually caused by long term antacid

use).

If you have ulcers Dr.West suggests you take one to three months to

treat and eliminate the inflammation or ulcer. He emphasizes food

combining. Try eliminating wheat, milk and their products for 30

days. Take 3 or 4 Gastrex capsules 15 minutes befire each meal and at

bedtime. Take 3 Okra Pepsin E3 capsules with each meal.

If you have a bad ulcer , drink eight ounces of freshly juiced cabbage juice

daily,

which can be combined with a little apple juice for taste. In 1 to 3

months most ulcers and gastritis are resolved according to Dr.West.

Standard Process Laboratories products are usually sold through a

health care practotioner. You can get it from Willner Chemists at 800-

633-1106 and they mail all over,

After the ulcer or gastritis is resolved, you still have the

underlying digestive problem. So you go back to the Zypan test again

with 1 tablet. If digestion improves take Zypan as above and clean up

your diet , get plenty of Raw foods which contain the enzymes you

need.

Use a good form of salt, which is necessary for production of

tomach acids. Celtic Sea Salt is a good form of salt that has many of

the more expensive trace minerals that are removed from ordinary

table salt. Their phone # 800-867-7258.
