Guest guest
REVISED: VISION TRAINING: NECESSARY INFO _____ Hi Guys... I don't remember if I ever posted on this list about orthoptic (optometric) vision training exercises. I am a devotee of these exercises, which I Iearned from my eye doctors at age 45. If you would like some FREE information AND practice materials, please email me. I will need some information from you first so that I can send you the materials appropriate for your particular condition: I LEFT OUT A FEW THINGS BEFORE,SO HERE IS THE REVISED LIST: (1) Your make of computer, Mac or PC (2) If you have MS Word or other word-processing program (3) If you have Quicktime or Photoshop or other graphics-viewing programs. You can download a $30 shareware program at http://www.tucows.com/mmedia/preview/228797.html (4) If you have Adobe Acrobat Reader. If you don't you can download it for free at http:// www.adobe.com (5) Your age, vision problems, and vision history, ie do you wear glasses, what is your diagnosis, etc. (6) If you have ever done anything w/re to vision training or natural vision improvement before, what kind of NVI it was, and what you perceive to have been the results. (7) Any info regarding any diagnosed eye diseases you have and/or any other general health problems 8) If you exercise (sedentary to strenuous exercise & how often) and your general level of fitness (9) Your diet (as much info as you think is relevant. If you commonly have chocolate cream pie instead of dinner, this is relevant.) I don't consider eating meat necessarily a " poor diet. " Please be as descriptive as you can on this one. (10) If you are a smoker or anything more than a social drinker (one glass of wine twice weekly = a social drinker) (11) If you have myopia ONLY and no other conditions, you might want to try PLUS LENS THERAPY instead of the orthoptic training that I studied. You can find out more about it at: http://geocities.com/otisbrown17268/ ........................... I gave lectures on Vision Training while working in India but have never done so here in the USA. At some point I may do this here professionally, but this may or may not happen and if it does it will be far in the future. So for the meantime I am passing on all the information I have with no charge and please EMAIL ME PRIVATELY to ask for it. I don't necessarily check the board all that often. You can read my introductory essay online at http://www.i-see.org/vtintro.html until I send you all of the materials. Cheers, Francine feisner
