Guest guest
I think the skin absorbtion depends on the molecule size of the item. The molecule has to be small enough to osmotically pass through capilliary walls. This is why massage is such a good way of getting aromatherapy oils into the system.THe carrier oil is only absorbed by the top layer of the skin but the essential all is small enough to pass into the bloodstream. In experiments garlic oil rubbed into the feet could be smelled on the breath within half an hour.
