Guest guest
I recently contracted a dose of these little mites and can honestly say it was the most miserable non life threatening condition I have ever had especially as i spent two weeks giving the dogs a hard time for having " fleas " . THe G.P gave me some very nasty insecticide to paint myself and family with called " malathion " or " Lindane " and despite the fact I knew it was a dangerous insecticide we were so miserable we used it but it did not get rid of the bugs as they have become resistant to both Lindane and Permethrin. In desperation I tried Ti-tree oil and what do you know it worked and it stopped the irritation really quickly. I will now use the G.P for diagnosis only. Best wishes Chris
Guest guest
I can feel with you on that one Chris...we lived in a city and got those nasty little creatures and did the same thing as you , used what the doctor gave us , I hated that but I didnt know about Tea Tree oil till recently , I am just learning how to use EO's and such . Recently we had a case of head lice my youngest brought home , I was smart this time though, I looked up Tea Tree oil uses and found it was used for the lice, I tried it and thank the heavens , it worked. I wont go back to the old ways now ...Lisa Gettingwell , " chrisgaren555 <chrisgaren555> " <chrisgaren555> wrote: > I recently contracted a dose of these little mites and can honestly > say it was the most miserable non life threatening condition I have > ever had especially as i spent two weeks giving the dogs a hard time > for having " fleas " . Guest guest
I have no experience with scabies or head lice but fleas, yes. My cat taught me this one. Plant some mint in your yard. Fleas don't like mint. Penel who once noticed her cat sitting in the mint patch and has maintained a mint patch at every house since then to her cat's flealess delite. <snip> > > especially as i spent two weeks giving the dogs a hard > > time for having " fleas " .
