Guest guest
Dear Group, Today at lunch we had a discussion that circled around the food we eat and harmful effects to the body. My friend John who had a stroke a couple of years ago and had angioplasty done said that once your arteries are clogged, the only treatment is to have angioplasty and you can never restore them. I had made mention that I had read that grapefruits were good for cleaning out the arteries. He said that he is restricted from eating grapefruits because of the blood thinners he takes and his doctor told him once they are clogged that's it. I have a hard time believing this.
