Guest guest
Larry, you said <<Also her Doctor did give her a shot of Vitamin B-12 last year, I have no idea what for though!!>> Are you sure that is all he gave her. Why would a doctor give a B-12 shot unless he was asked? Remember to avoid vaccines, they give them out like " candy " . What meds is she on? Could be side effects to that as well. I am cold all the time too if I am not moving around alot but the reason is because I am well hydrated and drink lots of water which is a cooling system and flushing system. If she is lacking anything plenty of fresh organic fruits and veggies should be added to the diet more. Nutritional healing is the first step, not the doctors office. I was having problems some time ago, especially after eating I would get so cold I would shiver. I read about evening of primrose oil helps regulate body temperature. You can use borage instead. They both work. Anyway it helped me out and it stopped the cold spells. Only I couldn't take it every day. This fatty acid helps influence estrogen levels and my estrogen was high. But I was able to take it for 1 week right after my period ended each month. I did this for a few months and had no problems after that. I think too that if you have a faulty digestion it can lead to feeling cold too. I am just guessing but I noticed that if I eat sugar or too many carbs that I feel cold for the day. I have an issue with mercury disrupting my liver function some and it could well be wrapped up with that. Also hormonal creams may help too. If you need to supplement with progesterone or estrogen or both, find what you need and use it. Our female hormones do other things for the body as well. Have you tried ginger tea for the coldness? In TCM (Traditional ), dried ginger is classified as an herb to warm the Interior. At one time I was so cold that I was having to take several hot baths per day in the winter to warm up, and it didn't even get that cold where we lived. It had to warm up to the 80s F before I felt warm enough. Sometimes even that wouldn't do it. Fennel seeds also are classified as an herb to warm the Interior and expel Cold. Pain can have one or more of several different TCM Roots. Cold is one of the things that can result in pain. In cases where pain is coming from Cold in the body, the ginger tea will stop the pain because it expels the Cold and warms the Interior. I discovered that once I started on the ginger tea, it helped menstrual cramps. Sometimes I had to drink more than one cup to get rid of them, but it definitely got rid of them.
