Guest guest
GentleMystik-Good for you!! At least you're getting started. I'm still trying to get my guys to build me a shadecloth area to keep the sun from scorching any garden I will make. They have to get it put up before August, when our best growing season is here in Florida. The bugs down here are unmerciful. Have you tried growing Neem there in California? You should be able to. You can get seeds when they are available from www.neemtreefarms.com thats where I got seeds last year. My plants are healthy, but I have to bring them indoors during freezes the first year. You can get more info on what Neem is for from www.neemwell.com and there is info on growing Neem at http://books.nap.edu/books/0309046866/html/index.html Can you tell I like Neem???? LOL!!! Have a great day today with your garden. Elaine - GentleMystik herbal remedies Sunday, June 09, 2002 11:30 PM [herbal remedies] Getting the garden up! Huzzah! I am happy to note that I'm finally getting the herb/veggie garden going. Its late, yes I know, but Calif is having some good warm weather and I think its ok to plant! So far I added rosemary (I already have a 6 year old plant), basil, spearmint and two kinds of parsley. I will add to that some peppermint, thyme, chamomile, lavendar and others later on. Right now, I'm happy with what I've started!Be wellMystik ---Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free.Checked by AVG anti-virus system (http://www.grisoft.com).Version: 6.0.370 / Virus Database: 205 - Release 6/5/2002
