To dry my herbs, we have a thin line we string from one side of the kitchen to the living room. I live in Florida and we have ceiling fans in every room of the house. I loop my herbs over the line and they dry very well. Then I remove them from the line and crumble them into ziplocks for storage for immediate use, or the freezer. I do Cleavers, stinging nettles, Hawks Beard, and ground Ivy for teas.

[herbal remedies] Was: Headaches and Stress now Drying Herbs

There are many ways to dry herbs. I have an older gas oven with apilot light and I spread them out in there to dry. I also us adehydrator with a fan and a low temperature setting as well as hang themin small bunches away from light. I suggest you do a search thru your favorite search engine with "howdry herbs". You will find many sites that will have ways that work foryou.RoxanneRoxanne J. Brown
