I realize I just joined this group and I hope no one thinks badly of

me for asking, but I have eczema on my hands and lower legs that just

about drives me out of my mind. The only thing I've ever done about

it is use Dove soap and turn down my shower. Is there anything anyone

can think of for me to try? I've been tormented by this for 14 years.

If anyone can help me, I'll knit a pair of socks for him/her. thank

you everyone and forgive me for asking for help before you even know

me.

You know I had forgotten about Vitamin E... but it does help many kinds of skin problems.

Try mixing a bit of Vitamin E oil (pure) with Propolis and rubbing it directly onto the problem area. there was a story on the tele the other night about a new miracle cream foe eczema and from what i noticed these would have been the two most active ingredients.

Eczema can have many causes, but one of the most common is liver trouble. It is

always a good idea to check for that with diagnostic tricks, and use a gentle

herbal treatment to see if it gets better. What often happens is that the body

is taking something toxic that is too much for the liver to handle, and

re-routing it through the lymph system out to the skin. The corrolary to this

is that there may be something either in the diet or the environment that the

body is regarding as a poison. It can be difficult to figure out what this is,

but once it is eliminated, the problem would go away for good.

Standard liver herbs include milk thistle, oregon grape, star anise, and

burdock. There are many great tinctures out on the market which combine these

and other herbs -- i have used a variety over the years and almost all of them

worked well.

Other liver symptoms, besides skin problems, include dandruff, a gritty

sensation in the right eye, and rotator cuff trouble, particularly in the right

shoulder. These are the diagnostic tricks i referred to earlier.
