Hi Christy,

I know that there are others on this list much more qualified to elaborate on this than I. But as no one has then I wlll do my best to assist you in my own meager way. I would not suggest fasting for weight loss. I would suggest fasting, if you can tolerate it for the greater benefits that it can produce. Yes, I am familiar with kinesiology, homeopathy, etc. I have never been to one myself but do intend to study such in the not too distant future. I also realize that we all want a quick patch. It took me 46 years of life to realize that quick patches just don't work. 3 years later I am still healing myself. I have no one to turn to and have been doing it by hit or miss. I have read a lot and have spent much time in reflecting on what I have read. I seek the truth to myself and my own health and well being. It is more a spiritual path than anything else. Anyway, I digress, Sounds to me like you are on the right track food wise. How long have you been on this particular eating habit? Are you a fast eater or a slow and methodical eater? Pretty strange question huh? Do you drink fluids with your meals? What kind of water are you drinking? Tap water? What is in your water that you are drinking? How is your thyroid doing now? I don't know much about thyroid problems but is yours due to a deficiency of iodine or an overdose of iodine? Or some other cause? How many meals a day do you eat? When do you eat your last meal? Do you eat between meals? Do you eat large portions or small? Are you taking any supplements? How much walking do you do? How much water are you drinking per day? I am very sorry for all the questions but they are necessary not only for me but for you. Are you eating any whole grains? Rice? What kind? Pastas are okay in limited quantites. Are you allergic to wheat? What do your allergies stem from? I know that wheat is a biggy with a lot of people ever since they decided to genetically engineer it back in the 30's or whenever they did it. Before that few people had allergies to wheat.

As to fasting, if you wish to fast for cleansing purposes that is very good. However, try a juice fast for a day and see how you tolerate it. Use fresh apple juice if you can get it, preferrable over the pasturized overly cooked kind. Apples are a great blood purifier. Or you can use fresh carrot juice. If you tolerate that well you can try for two days. Just take it one step at a time. The important thing is to realize that you are doing this to create a new you, a healthy you. Do not come off your fast by eating heavy foods or a lot of food because you are hungry. Always come off a fast with something very light. Even if you only fast for one day. Too, you might try, if you have decent water that is, adding fresh lemon juice to each glass of water that you consume. This will help to greatly speed up toxin removal from the cellular level and get it into the blood where it can be gotten rid of through the various waste disposal areas of the body (skin, colon, uninary system). Keeping yourself to a strictly vegetarian diet or even a fruitarian diet is not for everybody. They are very strict diets to follow but can be very beneficial for a person who wishes to follow them. If you are seriously interested in creating your own health then empower yourself. Start researching libraries and the web for information. Seek the truth in all you read and hear about it. After all only you can heal yourself. So you might as well start by being knowledgable. Find out if fasting is right for you or not but be sensible about it. Don't go and drop dead in front of your family because you overdid it. I would feel really terrible if that were to happen :o(. Most importantly, learn about Christy. And don't even think that any of this is going to happen over night. Realize it took you this many years to get where you are now, it is going to take some time to undo all the wrong and set it to right.

Hey, I did not intend to write you the Wall St. Journal here. Please let me know your thoughts and feelings and I am very much interested in hearing how you do and what you find out about your journey true wealth, health, and happiness. If I can be of further assistance I am always here and feel free to email me personally if you wish at eitner.d. I will send this to you now so you can muddle your way through it. Be in peace and light and let me know.

Sincerely,

Always your humble servant in light,

Don Eitner

[herbal remedies] Re: losing weight:Response to Don Eitner

Thank you for at least responding to my post. I was hoping someone would reply. You answered the way I was anticipating. I want to answer all of these questions.....hopefully you are still willing to help me in some way.????????????????????About 5 years ago I started going to my Chiropractor who is a homeopath....actually a kinesiologist. Are you familiar? Anyhow, he was very good and helped me alot...unfortunately I am not able to go to him anymore but he taught me alot about being healthy. ALot of what he told me it worked, but I didnt take seriously....I tried some things a couple of weeks...got better and went on with my life. I was working alot and had 2 little kids ....I needed a quick patch. It wasnt until after my 3rd son was born and my mom started going through physical problems (cancer caused by what they called polycystic ovarian syndrome) that I started to wake up and realize that I needed to change they way I lived. I had to quit work because my thyroid had enlarged and I was so fatigued I couldnt function. I am on.15mg of Levoxyl for my Thyroid now. I dont take any other meds except for advil because I get severe headaches quite a bit. They seem to stem from my neck not necessarily my head. As for my diet I have been eating alot of fresh veggies. I make salads and I eat alot of fruit. Prepackaged....some...because I have kids that like to eat and they seem to help us stay in our budget. We dont go overboared on them though. The meat I like to eat is mostly chicken or Turkey....I am not to fond of red meat. I eat pastas maybe 1-2 times a week. I DONT drink coffee or soda pop anymore..I only drink water and some milk like on a bowl of cereal. The only juice I like....lol...is orange juice and those Jones Juices that you buy at the gas station. I know weird huh? I seem to like a blend and not individual berry. I excercise everyday...whether it is walking, or using a video in my vcr. My sleep habits are pretty good I get at least 6-8 hours....it hasnt been as much since my allergies have kept me awake quite a bit lately.I am a stay-at-home mom now....I dont use alcohol..nor drugs...nor tobacco. I hope this helps assess a little bit. The 2 main reasons I wanted to try fasting is because it cleanses and I was hoping to gain the benefit of losing weight as well. I went to Bible college for 1 year so I am well aware of the spiritual benefit as well as emotional ....I had friends on my dorm floor who fasted at times. If fasting wouldnt be the answer would you have any other options or ideas for me? I dont like fad diets.....a few ladies in my church tried the Atkins diet and my siter (RN) told me it was a bad diet for woment especially. There was this one fruit diet that they tried too. Anyway, I will be waiting for an answer. Thanks so much for your time.Christy alternate e-mail christyFederal Law requires that we warn you of the following: 1.
