NO sugar diet and no energy, using licorice extract

Hi,

I am trying to combat intestinal yeast and systemic yeast on top of an H

Pylori infection and probable ulcers. I also have food allergies. So

between a rotation diet for the food allergies, a special diet for an ulcer,

and a no sugar diet for candida, I am really feeling pretty discouraged.

I was trying to follow an ulcer diet due to pain that was keeping me up all

night, but the only thing I seemed to tolerate was cooked pureed apples,

banana and special yogurt, cooked pureed beets. I was doing better with this

diet, but then I started noticing that in the morning I was waking up with a

very dry mouth and throat. To me this is always an indication that yeast is

increasing in my system.

So, two days ago, I tried to switch gears and stop the fruit, and the only

thing I am eating right now is meat/fish/poultry with cooked veggies that I

am rotating. I also seem to be tolerating boiled eggs with mashed avocado.

That is the only thing raw I am tolerating right now.

Ok, so I thought this would work pretty good for awhile. Problem is that now

I have absolutely NO ENERGY.

I am trying to address the ulcer with licorice extract before meals and

mastic gum with meals and avoiding raw fruit and veggies.

Can anyone offer any ideas of whether the loss of energy might be from the

sudden reduction of sugar in my diet or should I be thinking I might be

having a reaction to the two supplements I am taking?

Thanks,

Jane

Sounds like a High protein/low carb diet.

And your body has not made the change to Ketosis

Ketosis is the production of ketone bodies that replace

glucose in the blood when carbohydrate intake is low.

It usually takes 3-4 days for the energy levels to kick back in.

And for the dull headache to go away.

Drink lots of water. At least one half ounce per body weight.

Whenever anyone has a pervasive, long-term yeast problem, a large number of

factors need to be considered. It's probably not just the yeast. Many of

these things also are correlated with environmental problems. Radical

changes to your living situation would be very likely to change your health

as you're describing it. Simply moving furniture around has been known to

help, but what is really indicated here, is some drastic redesign of part of

the space, because there may be something about the way it looks that

transmits the idea of a threat. I've seen this sort of thing a lot.

Sometimes, it is possible to work backwards and accurately describe

someone's living space by knowing their health problems.

According to " Your Body's Many Cries for Water " , ulcers are the first

condition that was discovered to be fully treatable by administering

adequate water. It is surprising how little water most of us drink. And

anything with caffiene will cause you to need more water than normal.

Sugared water is a factor as well.

In many cases, i have seen people cut out sugar and feel a lack of energy.

This is a temporary situation. With good mineral supplementation,

especially including magnesium, zinc, and potassium, energy levels should

return within a few days.

Another thing about yeasts that i've observed is that they often tell you

what to eat. It is a strange phenomenon, but it has been documented

elsewhere. One of the ways they communicate to their hosts, is by causing

sudden and dramatic energy depletions. It is a very strange phenomenon.

This is more of a survey question. Have you ever been on Prozac, Paxil,

Luvox, or Zoloft? If so, the problems you describe are typical of what

happens to people after taking those. Feel free to answer that one

privately if you want.

Hey Michael: Very interesting answer! I have enough evidence to believe

that I have a pervasive yeast problem of my own (what kind, I have no idea,

not being in possession of an electron microscope...*lol*). Are you

talking about Feng Shui type stuff with the furniture-moving? I know

nothing about it, but I'd certainly never considered that as a possible

irritant to my system.

I used to basically live and breathe sugar. In the last month I've

successfully cut back quite a bit, lowered my coffee intake to a cup a day

(substituted a really good no-caf herbal tea I found that's sweetened with

Stevia), and tried to drink lots more water. You're right; for about a

week my energy was totally sapped, but it's starting to come back. I'm

craving veggies and rice (big rice cravings; I've even been eating it plain

as a snack--weird huh?), which I never did before. (Before I only craved

sweets.)

The only thing is, the symptoms that led me to pinpoint my problem as yeast

aren't going away. The most obvious of these is a topical fungal infection

(I wrote about this before to the group) that not only won't go away, it

keeps spreading, even though I'm making all these changes and hitting it

with black walnut tincture every day. Could I be missing something?

Hey, and just out of curiosity, what music would you recommend for yeast

control?

Thanks,

MSL

When i referred to moving furniture around, it could just be simple

rearrangement, with no thought given to Feng Shui or anything else. Sometimes

that alone will break problems apart.

But when you put in Feng Shui, you get into a whole other dimension. Yes, i

studied Feng Shui, and even wrote a book on it (which got published, but i have

no idea whether or not it's currently available). When you work with Feng Shui,

you're in part dealing with subtle natural forces which have not completely been

recognized by American science. And it is my own belief that some of these

forces are very much connected with yeast and mold growth.

This needs research. Those of us who know something about this, should go to

places like Detroit, Memphis, or St. Louis which have been heavily impacted by

geobiological problems, and work on cases using both proven and unproven

techniques. Everything needs to be documented. Then, we can start outlining

techniques that will reliably work to take molds out of the environment, and

thus yeasts out of human bodies.

Of course you never will get rid of all the yeast. You don't want to. It is

part of everyone, and helps certain digestive processes, sort of like an ameba

that lives inside of termites allows them to digest wood, but in a more subtle

manner.

With the topical infection, instead of Black Walnut, which does not work

reliably, use Tea Tree Oil. That's appropriate when a milder thing won't work.

If you don't get results with the inexpensive Tea Tree Oil available at health

food stores, you may need to get the more expensive but remarkably more potent

multilevel product. In my own observation, that stuff was well worth the extra

money and hassle.

Federal Law requires that we warn you of the following:

1. Natural methods can sometimes backfire.

2. If you are pregnant, consult your physician before using any natural remedy.

3. The Constitution guarantees you the right to be your own physician and to

prescribe for your own health.

We are not medical doctors although MDs are welcome to post here as long as
