Hi all,

I received some information on vitamin O and

would like to know if all the claims I have

heard about this are true. I know this is a

oxygen supplement. This vitamin claims

to end fatigue, stop depression, help with

the Epstein Barr Virus, & stop chronic pain.

Does anyone know if this is true about this

vitamin?

Thanks all

Krista

Krista, my son-in-law from Australia has talked about this --but I have not

tried it. He seems to think it works, but hasn't given me any facts yet. I am

a skeptic on this one. Patty

Really, I see nothing in vitamin O that has anything to do with what herbalists are doing or using...maybe an alternative medicine/healing group would have the answers about it for you.

If I went any further in my search to answer you question, I would have had to post information that really could come across as promoting a product...which is not allowed on this group. Find an herb you're interested in, thats more what we're about.

love, Elaine

" Find an herb you're interested in. That's what we're all about. " ......That's

what I attempted to do with my discovery of Scullcap, but it was turned into a

discussion of the advantages of organic gardening and my point was COMPLETELY

overlooked. I thought the main focus is to discuss and share info. on herbs for

a better quality of life. I'm a little confused.

I dunno. This thing about oxygen curing a lot of ailments has been around

for a while. A lot of the original information came from Walter Grotz and

Ed McCabe almost 20 years ago. Several preparations have been made that

supposedly increase oxygen in the body. The first one i knew about was a

powder called " Homozone " . I mention this because the case determinations

reported here are almost identical to some statements made in a case

concerning Homozone several years ago.

It's very hard to determine if any super-oxidant (my term) will be

effective. No controlled studies have been done, since these things are

terribly cheap to make and so there's no profit in selling them long-term.

I do know that many of the people who have done this thing of pumping ozone

in large quantities into their homes have had very bad health experiences.

Probably i'm one of the most guilty here of discussing topics that are

close, but not exactly herbal. It's my checkered background. Or, maybe

it's UFOs controlling my mind. No, that doesn't sound right. Maybe it's

just that these topics do tend to blend in to each other at times. My own

concern is optimum health, achieved any way we can.

My personal opinion is that calling Oxygen a vitamin is a con.

Oxygen therapy has been around for quite some time, and has been proven to be very beneficial.

But calling it a vitamin is a "sales gimmick" in my books.
