Guest guest
is it true that white meat like chicken is better than red meat in terms of digestion? thanks, Fahad
Guest guest
For many people, that appears to be the case. The main exception seems to be Native American people, who are generally more adapted to digest game meats such as bison, antelope, and deer. I would suspect that anyone with Asian ancestry would do all right with chicken, since its longest history is in Southeast Asia, where it originated. Hi Michael! I do know that chicken is a BIG no-no for folks with AB type blood. Chicken really does me in. Pretty good for O types, though. Guest guest
I am A+ and can tolerate chicken, turkey & pheasant but, should have a vegetarian diet. Red meat does me in, especially sinee I have rhuematoid arthritis. I do eat ALOT of salmon at least three times a week if not more!! Guest guest
Dear Melinda, There is some truth to the "Eat Right for your Type" type diet, but it is not the be-all, end-all and some of the data is incomplete and/or misleading. For example, an Eskimo with an "A" blood type would NOT do well if he were taken off of his red meat and his blubber. There are definitely genetic considerations as I think Michael previously mentioned which are not included in that book. Guest guest
Dear Kristen, There are definitely those who do not do well on ALL meats. I find that ole Doc Jensen (Dr. Bernard Jensen) did some excellent research back in the mid 50's. He personally went and lived with the 5 longest lived "tribes" to investigate their diets. Everyone is very fond of putting the Hunzas on a pedestal and then they promote their own favorite hobby horse regardless of whether the Hunzas used it or not. Doc Jensen lived with the King of Hunzaland for 6 months and fully researched the Hunza diet. Along with the other 4 longest lived peoples on this planet, the Hunzas were and are meat eaters regardless of blood type. I think the key point here is that most of their meat was goat and fowl, and that their meat is 100% ORGANIC. My lecture covers this in great detail, and shows where the "standard" American diet has gone off the rails.
