Off Topic: RE: Non sleeping baby at 8 months

Not to fight with anyone. I only share this only because....

 

4 years ago, a lady living in West-Central Missouri, USA placed her 9

month old baby in bed with her and the next day the baby was dead.

Sounds wild, but the real story was the lady was 290 pounds, high on

crack, alcohol, and had been up for days. She passed out and rolled over

on the child.......

 

It's not folklore but something that was shared in a 12 step meeting I

was attending that night. I guess the moral of the story is if the lady

had been in the right frame of mind, then perhaps this would not have

taken place as it did.

 

I for one was raised in the comfort of the grand parents, aunts,

cousins, mom, dad, and perhaps they did roll over on my head, but many

folks now days get uptight about raising children. Who knows?
