Hi Sara

I was shocked to hear such ongoings in this seemingly benign herbal group

even if apologies are forwarded to Michael. This person is dedicating his

precious time to help others in a genuine display of heartfelt concern and

voice of experience if the people on this list knew his only desire is to

help others.Michael is a beautiful spirit and a God fearing individual who

isn,t afraid to say who his maker is. I too feel a reassurance to the

mention of a Healer who comes first in my book over herbs. Who created

herbs? Well that is all I will say at this time and if doc thinks such

reference is inappropriate than I guess I am toast!

My favorite prose from St Francis of Assisi:

*****************

Be praised, my lord, with all your creatures,

Especially Lord Brother Sun,

To whom we owe both day and light,

For he is beautiful, radiant, and of great splendor;

Of you, most high, hei s the emblem.

Looks like i got in a big huge fight & didn't even know about it. Haven't

found the original msg from Sara yet but from the reactions i know a lot

worse stuff has been said to me in the past & i'm still walking.

Just do keep in mind that no specific religions were mentioned in my

original post. Native American religion should properly be considered

within the context of each tribe. Since some N.A. symbolism was used in the

post i was replying to, i decided to include a word about some possible

techniques in a general sense. But the individual tribal customs come

first, and i do know that at least the tribes around here are VERY intensely

family-oriented.

As for being cold and heartless, yes i can be that way sometimes. It's an

ongoing problem, and something i have to work on in my personal life. But

on the other side of it, whenever anyone tries to communicate with anyone

else, there is a risk of offending. That's just the way things are in this

world. There are only two possible responses -- the

psychiatric/psychological one, which ultimately leads to the idea that

nobody should even try to communicate because they can't be fully understood

anyway, or to take the risk. I took the risk, and maybe screwed up a

little. Somebody else seems to have written that Zoloft and St. John's Wort

should not be taken at the same time. I would certainly agree with that. I

also would say that most psychiatric drugs tend to inhibit a person's

ability to communicate, which is one reason why i so strongly recommend

against them.

Thanks, everyone, including Sara, for your comments. I've learned a lot,

and look forward to learning more later tonight, after my melodrama

rehearsal, when i can look at some more of the emails from the group.

Heya: I've been pretty shocked by this seemingly benign group at times,

myself. It really floors me when rational discussions--even emotional

discussions--suddenly become about subservience to one religious idea or

another. But I guess we both have a chance here to learn a lesson about

tolerance, and why it's valuable. Tolerance allows both of us to continue

to learn from the group, even though we're both shocked and disoriented by

each others' take on the world.
