Guest guest
Hello All. Name is Willy. This may seem like a weird question. Any idea what one can use to help over come fear? Now, I know this sounds strange, but I am tired. Not trusting my Higher Power and getting to point of panic. I have been without a source of income for a month. After 7 ½ years, the Federal contract I worked on went away. Now I digging into the saved funds and starting to fear the process. I don’t smoke dope or drink alcohol so those ‘herbs’ are out of the question. I have done those things in 15 years! - I have been drinking peppermint tea the last few days. Food sucks. I have been eating mostly canned soup and bread. Perhaps I am wanting you to fix me and make things better. I have tired warm baths with Vanilla. I did some rose junk also. Poor, poor me… LOL Willy – West-Central Missouri USA
Guest guest
> Hello All. Name is Willy. Hey Willy! I don't think your question is weird. I suffer from bouts of dread, hopeless feelings and panic myself. I am trying to eat better and take herbs to help support my system, which you should be too--Not just because it's a good idea, but because the very act of trying to get your act together and treat yourself right can make you feel a lot better. For instance, this morning I was lamenting having forgotten something important when I left for work -- I'm such a scatterbrain and it ticks me off no end -- but it made me feel better to think, Hey, I'm down to one cup of coffee a day for my fourth day in a row--So I'm doing something right! It helps to have something you can think about that'll pick you up a little bit, and making progress with the healthiness of your lifestyle is a great way to do that. I don't have anything to offer you as a quick-fix for the worst of your moments, but I'm sure someone else in the group does--these guys are the shiznit. (Me, I'm still young...so I've been known to smoke a doobie when I get too stressed! *lol*) I do have an exercise or two that I do myself when things get bad, and they really help me calm down and refocus on the positive things--not a problem-solver, but a potential breakdown-preventer, and they've worked for me for quite a while now. If you'd like me to explain them to you, just email me off-list and I'd be happy to. (I didn't think this would interest the list at large, but if anybody else on the list wants that novel emailed to them, just ask--I'm not keeping secrets or anything!) Peace, Willy -- lots of it! --Sara Thustra http://netwinsite.com/dbabble http://www.nospamnews.com

Herbally you may want to consider mild nervines such as chamomile, hops, california poppy, linden flower, or catnip. You can make tea out of these guys. You should also consider the possibilty of mild depression, there are some conflicting reports these days but St. Johns wort has always helped me. As for the fear, I think you should look at Back flower remedies (sorry I don't have a chart handy, try the web or a natural products/health food store). The very first thing I would do is exercise, drink plenty of water, and be shure of proper nutrition. Watch those B vitamins closely. And when you are tired of looking for work, involve yourself in something productive, comunity service perhaps, or look for a flexible job, no matter how low the pay, just don't waste your time, this makes the " waiting place " (i.e. Dr. Seuss) all the worse. I became a substitute teacher during carreer transition. Once you get past the nightmares,it's quite rewarding. Guest guest
Thank You. I did manage to get out and walk a bit after I sent that message. The job thing, I have done some personal computer work for folks. Mostly it comes down to getting off my azz and accepting what comes my way. I do have a insane ex-wife… any takers LOL I have really enjoyed this group. Thank you for all the comments. I am still learning the ways to use the herbals. Peace to all.
