Guest guest
Hi all, I spent the weekend at the local market with my soaps... I didn't do as good as I wanted, but I did ok, the threat of rain hung heavy the whole weekend. I met some interesting skin problems, things Allopathic MDs are scratching their heads over... 1) a produce vendor(a buddy of mine) has blisters on the back of his hands. they look like burns... after ruling out mishaps from cooking... the only thing I can figure is a sensitivity to the chemicals sprayed onto the produce he buys from the larger farmer's markets (where he does daily rain or shine, freezing or sweltering) for the past six years. 2) a man that breaks out into a rash on any skin exposed to the sun any time he is in the sun...that itches bad enough to scratch his hide off...says the only thing that stops the itch is an application of bleach or alchohol... 3) a woman with Sjogren's Syndrome, she's suffered for about 7 years, she's disgusted with her Dr because he hasn't been helpful with info on this for her.. with allergies to wheat and corn, among the others, and as she puts it "there's dryness issues going on all over the place", she'd love more relief and information.
