Don't have a microwave oven. Tossed it out the door several years back while muttering "It just ain't natural!!". My dh has never forgiven me, because he had completely forgotten how to cook or heat up food without a microwave LOL!!! Somehow he's survived.

Here's what I suggest for E. Coli problem in the kitchen. Of course you will have to search out your source yourself, as this group is not one for giving out name brands or websites. Grapefruit Seed Extract Stops Diarrhea, Gingivitis,Candida Yeast, Parasites, and More. This biologically active natural extract is being used to kill Strep, Staph, Salmonella, E. Coli, Candida, Herpes, Influenza, parasites, fungi and traveler's diarrhea. This has been proven in dozens of laboratory tests, and is supported by feedback from doctors and consumers from all over the world. ElaineAll-purpose Cleaning and Disinfection.

Hospitals, Schools, Day-Care Centers, Nursing Homes, Residential and Commercial sites. GSE has the potency of some commonly used industrial disinfectants like benzelthonium chloride, without the toxic side-effects. Use GSE in bathrooms, on counters, food-prep areas, garbage containers, and all other susceptible areas. Apply to all common-use surfaces, such as telephone hand-set, computer touch-screen, door knobs, and more. GSE can be used alone or in combination with virtually any cleaning agent. Always use GSE in the rinse water after any cleaning job to leave a protective residue on tile and tile grout, linoleum, vinyl tile and sheet flooring, painted surfaces, etc. This will also keep sponges, string mops, and all other cleaning tools sweet and clean smelling, and free from germs. -

[herbal remedies] E. Coli Tip

I saw this and thought it was great. It's so easy to do! I thought you might enjoy reading this and it might save you all some problems with this nasty bug. - MelindaRemedy for E coli Tue May 7,12:11 PM ET (HealthScoutNews) -- Harmful bacteria like E.coli are more likely to pitch camp in your kitchen than in your toilet. They particularly like to colonize your sponges, dish rags and cutting boards, because those surfaces are moist and contain small particles of food. Microbiologists have discovered one easy way to kill them: Stick those items in your microwave oven. Add water. A wet sponge takes one minute, a dishrag requires three minutes, and a wooden cutting board needs 10 minutes.
