Does anyone have any experience with this? >> Hey Sherry, I am a lurker too, although I have been on the list over a year. I learn a lot here. I do have experience with Motherwort though. I make a tea that I take the first day or two of my period and it helps with the cramps and the heavy flow. Cramp-Relieving Tea 1 tsp. dried crampbark 1/2 tsp. dried motherwort herb 1/2 tsp. dried chamomile flowers 1/2 tsp. dried wild yam root 1/2 tsp. dried California poppy, whole plant or root 1/2 tsp. dried valerian root 1/2 tsp. dried skullcap herb Licorice or stevia, to taste. 4 cups water Combine the herbs and water in a pan. Bring to a boil, then lower the heat and simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from heat, cover, and steep for 20 minutes. Strain and discard the herbs. Drink 1 Cup as often as needed. I find that I don't need this much for it to help. I have never used the whole recipe. I also don't add the licorice or stevia. It doesn't taste very good but it is worth it to relieve cramps and heavy flow. HTH, Linda (the lurker);-) --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free.
