Guest guest
This isn't " herbal " but it is natural, my daughter uses Quercitin, vitamin C, and Pantothenic Acid. Prior to taking the natural route she was on steroids her allergies were so bad. She was on those for one year. Why I let it go on THAT long I have NO idea. Bad mom, bad, bad mom. The solution she has now works much better than the steroids did. Not to mention I don't have any fear about what could become of her several years down the road! Another thought... When I was a teen I used raw unfiltered honey to desensitize myself. I purchased it during my peak allergy season, waited until after frost and gave myself time to recover a bit. Then, I started with 1/8 a teaspoon a day; gradually working up to 6 tablespoons a day. If the mold count goes very high I'll still get a bit of an effect, but I'm no longer bothered by pollen allergies at all. (This is what I suspect could be what's going on with you... the pollen in the hay) When I was small I loved to play in the hay loft, trouble was I couldn't be in there for more than a few minutes before my eyes swelled up and I had a feeling of not being able to get air. : ( After the honey treatments I no longer have that problem. Now I'm just too old to want to play in the hay. lol Well... come to think of it , it might be fun; just not for the same reasons I had when I was 5. ; ) Sherry Lassiter Suzanne Nottmeier wrote: > > > Anyone got any suggestions on what herbs to use if you're allergic to > hay? > > Suzi > > -- The problem that infuriates you the most is the problem God has assigned you to solve. Guest guest
What kind of hay? If it's alfalfa, try getting some honey produced from bees that visit nearby fields. For more ordinary hay, several different herbs work. There must be some correlation between various metabolic types and which ones are best.
