Guest guest
Thanks EVERYBODY for the great herbal sore-muscle remedies! Let me tell you what I ended up doing, because it worked GREAT: On the advice of a book and a wonderfully grandmotherly list-member, Sara sat down in a blazing hot bath, approximately 1/3 of which was strong, fresh ginger tea. Stayed in the bath an hour, just 'cause it felt good! But when I got out, I felt so good that it actually took me about another hour to realize that all my muscular soreness was *poof*! Gone! Skin felt great, too. The soreness started to come back a little bit about 8 hours later, but I plan on taking one of these baths after every kickboxing class now. Just the right combination of relaxing and stimulating, IMO. [For those who don't wanna look it up: To Make Ginger Tea For Bathing. Grate one palm-sized ginger root as finely as you can without making mush. Boil one huge pot water. Add ginger root flakes, turn off heat, and steep 15-20 minutes. Strain out the bits as best you can and add it to a bathtub of hot water.] Thanks all, ST When you have nothing better to do, visit Bored.com at http://www.bored.com
