Guest guest
Hi, I've got a question. I've drastically changed my diet (for about 3 1/2 weeks now). I've eliminated all meats except fish, and nearly cut out dairy. I've been trying to purchase organic products. My diet has focused on Fruits, veggies, rice (mainly brown and long- grain wild) and nuts/seeds. I drink herbal teas and water mainly. I'm taking some herbal remedies (essential oils for baths and a " triphala Internal Cleanser " ) and some supplements. Here's the question...since I've started this I've come down with the stomach flu, and now a cold. Am I doing something wrong? I thought this would strengthen my immune system, but it seems to be weakening it. Any suggestions/advice would be super. Thanks, cathy
Guest guest
Over the years I have always found the same thing - especially if I start a new exercise regime too. I always put it down to the body eliminating the rubbish once it starts getting what it needs. Guest guest
Hi Cathy, This is totally normal. When you start to cleanse and detoxify your body will often go into what is called a " healing crisis. " Your body starts to bring up and eliminate old toxins stored in the body. Keep with it! It will get better! I first started cleansing about a year ago and got very sick for a couple of months. Now, I'm taking the next step and am now in my 3rd week of doing Doc's total body cleanse and he explained to me that the echinacea and total tonic are included in the program to help prevent the body from experiencing the effects of the healing crisis. You might want to add these 2 things as you cleanse to keep from getting sick. So far it's worked for me! Ann --- cuppa_pt <cmagdis wrote: > Hi, > I've got a question.
