I thought the cayenne tincture might be hot enough but with your experience of adding extra I will do that. Thanks, Patty
Guest guest
Hey Patty and Doc, I make a healing all purpose comfort salve that I use for just about everything. I take olive oil and infuse it with Calendula, comfrey, and plantain. Which I will thicken with beeswax and slather on all sorts of skin ailments. I also have olive oil infused with cayenne and meadowsweet. when things like arthritis or muscle injury crop up I blend the two oils together and thicken into a salve to rub into those sore joints and muscles I have also been known to add a little extra cayenne powder straight into the salve. works wonders - I love the stuff. It does heat up the skin and there can be a burning feeling If I get the cayenne a little strong which is often but there is no actual burning of the skin. I personally have had no side effects from this. Hope this helps Patricia
