Guest guest
From what I understand, too much ginger, or too strong a decoction, can cause a mama to feel nauseaus, throw up, and in some cases, irritates the uterus and causes problems such a premature labor. That's why weak decoctions/teas (like flat ginger ale) are good to try and see how your body reacts. Same with peppermint. Mama's bodys, while pregnant, are in an altered state and much more sensitive to the environment--it's sole purpose is to protect the growing baby within. The hormones are flying high and in surges, hence the morning sickness. Other morning sickness alternatives are-chamomile tea (warm or cool), Pregnancy Tea (made by Trditional Medicinals), or crackers by the bed for eating upon waking and before getting out of bed. Hopefull, this helps a little... good luck!
