Guest guest
Diagnosed with diverticulitis-internal hemmoroids and external ones. Bloating-upper digestion problems. Have done cleanses before and they backfire. I am suspecting a lazy colon now-have had no peritalis feeling for along time.

I saw once a note of someone taking digestive enzymes and CURING their diverticulitis. So I tried it. I am not good about taking them all the time. However when I did have aflare up and took anitboitics it took almost a week for me to get better. With digestive enzymes, if I have a flare up I can stop it in less than 24 hours. Now I take them on a semi regular basis and have not had a flare up for more than 2 years. I take N-zymes and Super digestive enzymes which is get from http://www.lef.org which is the life extension foundation. I think you can find something similar in a pharmacy or the vitamin section of a supermarket. I take the different kinds because they seem to have different things in them and I do not know which enzyme is needed or more important, but they are also inexpensive. I also take some sort of multidoilius with bifidia. But I do that only every so often. I figure once they are in you they tend to reproduce on their own. I take them every so often just to make sure. I do not think colon's get lazy. More likely you have bad bacteria in your gut which allow the generation of toxins which " paralyze " your normal peristaltic (pardon any misspellings but no dictionary) action. This works for me. You might try it. Cannot see any reason it will harm you and likley only do good. Frank
