Hello,

My name is Emily, I live in the NYC area and I am an AP SAHM to an 18

month old daughter.

I have a question/problem that I need help with and would appreciate

ANY help you could give me.

I am currently on a few Pharm meds for Depression and Panic Disorder.

It worsens around my period.

Well, I am now over 2 months late with both blood and urine tests

coming back NEGATIVE for HCG.

I am miserable, heavy, crampy and sick for months now, My Ob/gyn

said " you're just late "

so I looked into emenegogues.(sp?) I decided to insert fresh Parsley

close to my cervix like a tampon, I hvae had 2 such inserts since

about 10 last night. No blood yet.

Has this method been known to work? I just feel nauseous and gassy!!!

Also, has anyone ever heard of the Vit C method of inducing your

period? 500mg every hour for 5 says (and helping it along with the

parsley tampon)

Will Vit C interfere with the unfortunate Anti depressants and Anti

anxiety meds I am taking (effexor Buspar, Klonapin) I would rather

not be on those but they seem to be the only things that HELP me

somewhat so far.

I would appreciate any suggestions, help or advice.

I look forward to meeting all of you.

-Em

From my viewpoint, a post like this is simply tragic. I am really sad to

see this.

Based on what has been said here, getting into herbal medicine will do no

good at all. There is a deeper, fundamental problem. That problem is,

trusting doctors who really don't know what they're doing. Whenever a

person is put on multiple antidepressant medications, there is great danger,

and rarely a good outcome. In fact, one of the listed medications here was

part of the Yates case down in Texas.

These medications tend to do tremendous damage, a fact which has not been

adequately studied yet. But NOBODY should EVER quit these cold turkey. To

get off these medications takes a tremendous amount of time and attention

from an honest Medical Doctor. Usually a program of steadily reduced

dosages has to be done, along with a precisely monitored program of

nutrition.

Vitamin C won't interfere with the listed medications. But the medications

may mask the good effects of the vitamin, or even make it impossible to keep

it down in some cases.

I am practically in tears here concerning this tragedy. I really hope this

young mom can find her way out of the medical traps she has fallen into. It

is so sad. I know how difficult it can be to find a doctor who can safely

get someone out of a mess like this. I will be praying for her.
