Guest guest
Generally that would be done with certain herbs off a short list. But i'm not certain why anyone would want to use plaster, when simple bandages to hold herbs on the area are so effective. The short list of external wound herbs: Tobacco Golden Seal (powder or leaf) Yarrow >Hi, > Newbie here. Guest guest
I'm sorry I should have been more specific. I have developed a very severe allergy to adhesives. I can't use any band aid or tape on the market even those labeled " hypo-allergenic " . So what I am trying to do is locate an alternative before I need it. Thanks. Guest guest
In my part of the world, the old Cheyenne people used to just get a bit of rabbit fur, and then tie it around with buffalo hide strips. Worked very well. Of course you first have to shoot the rabbit & the buffalo. If rabbit fur was going to be overkill, mullein leaves would work well. Guest guest
I saw a product on the shelves the other day called 'Nu-skin'. I remember that from way back in my college/tattoo days ( I never got one but went with a girlfriend to get hers...). It's a thin film that's applied in a thin coat over a new tattoo, and sloughs off naturally, in time, when the tattoo heals. I marveled then and do now over that seemingly insignificant product. May be worth checking into. Though far from herbal, it may be easier to find than fresh mullein leaves, rabbit fur or buffalo hide? I'm wondering why a good herbal salve and gauze wouldn't be a good alternative? Guest guest
Thank you. I have a salve I can use, but the problem comes when I need to attach the gauze. The last several times I needed to have a bandage it was in a really awkward area to wrap with a tension bandage, so I though plastering of some kind would be a good alternative. >Robin <rnowakerth >herbal remedies ><herbal remedies > >[herbal remedies] Re:plaster/band aids >Wed, 27 Mar 2002 05:56:02 -0600 > >I saw a product on the shelves the other day called 'Nu-skin'.
