Guest guest
Hi everyone, I told you I would let you know how I am doing with my dental problems. I went for my thrid tooth scaling the 7th. The hygenist told me my gums are responding really good. I never told her about the tooth and gum formula, but I am sure it is helping. I can't believe just having them cleaned really well by itself is doing it. I brush and floss before using the formula which I am sure makes it work better. I went for a bone density scan yesterday so if calcium is a problem maybe it will be corrected shortly. By the way store bought milk can cause osteoporrosis acording to reports I have read. When my gyno ask me if I drink milk, I replied, NO. I get my calcium from greens and other sources. I also take calcium suppliments. Only trouble is I just learned that one of the side effects the diuretic my family doc prescribed for me to take flushes my calcium and folate (while claiming to preserve my potassium). If it flushes one how can I be sure it isn't flushing the other. Sure my doc has blood test done, but still can I be sure? At any rate I plan to ask my new gyno about this drug and see what can be done about it. I think I have a progestrone defiency that caused me to start holding fluid in the first place. If so why not treat the hormone problem instead of taking a diuretic. After all when the doc put my on the fluid pill she said it was my hormones causing the problem. At that time I didn't know as much about hormones and didn't know it was a progestrone problem perhaps. Also they said this type fluid pill was so safe, they didn't tell me all of the side effects. Thank God for books and the internet so we can become informed. Sorry to take up so much space. Just letting you know how things are going and my thoughts concerning them.
