hello, sorry to put two questions in one post, but i did not want to

clutter up the list.

i have been diagnosed by my NP as having migraines. we have health

ins. but does not cover Naturo. or alternative therapies. & i cannot

afford to see a separate dr. so i only go when something is really

bothering me. otherwise we do things at home. the migraines have

gone from once a month to twice-three times monthly. she gave me

some zomig samples, blech, told me to chart my monthly cycle, plus

the headache frequency. i have tried these herbal remedies-feverfew,

chamomile, rosemary (all teas) and another tea which was kindof a

combo of all of these. my mother & maternal grandfather both have

migraines. is there anything else i can do?

also, on to my next question. my son (9 y.o.) is having some tooth

sensitivity. his new adult teeth & one of his back molars. we went

to the dentist yesterday, she said use act for children (with

flouride) is there another natural option for tooth sensitivity? he

says cold things bother him, but not really hot things.

thank you in advance for any help.

have a wonderful day, sanQ

When no herbs work against migraines, it is best to assume it's a mental or

spiritual problem and handle it without using any substances at all. That's

difficult, especially in our present society. I can privately give some

advice about mental or spiritual handling, but we'd better keep it off the

list. Tends to be very controversial, no matter which spiritual group you

hang out with.

As for tooth sensitivity, one cause of that IS flouride. It is difficult to

find a good toothpaste without it. And i notice that the brands seem to

come and go. About the only three reliable brands are: Tom's (have to read

his labels carefully though), Vicco (very hard to find), and Auromere. I

have also found that about anything with prickly ash bark in it is really good.

You might want to consider internal cleansing to help with the

migraines.
