Healing salve, mollasses and love

Suzi, I am happy for you that you have your beloved little girl back home

with you. Our pets become family just as our kids do so our concern is the

same for both.

This would not help her but it is a good healing salve. When I worked as a

CNA I had a nurse tell me she could heal the worst bed sore with sugar mixed

in vaseline. She said the doctors wouldn't let them use it if they knew of

it, but what the doctors didn't know wouldn't hurt them, but would help the

patients and they were the ones we were trying to help.

 

Also I was told that sugar would stop bleeding if you were cut real bad. I

told my daughter this and she ask me, " If sugar stops bleeding on the

outside, what does it do when you eat it. " I couldn't answer her. What would

your answer be Doc?

 

I agree whole heartedly about the benefits of molasses. I am from

southeastern Missouri but eat like a southerner and I love molasses. I have

a snack my family says yuck to. It's molasses on one slice of bread, peanut

butter on another slice of bread with bannana in the middle for a sandwich.

 

Kathryn, I agree that love is the greatest gift we can give anyone. I don't

get along with everyone I work with, but I try to be kind to everyone and my

boss told me that is why I am well liked. She said how you treat others

makes a difference how you get treated in return. What goes round comes

round, if you give light and love then that is what well come back to you.

Life is too short as it is so why not get the best out of it right.

It is true you can get hurt sometimes, but on the brighter side you can make

some really good friends this way and a true friend is priceless.
