I found it very effective for candida, though so powerful that it caused quite a healing crisis for me. The brand I used (and the one I trust) is East Park Research. They have a patented formula, that supposedly stays in your bloodstream longer than other brands. Hopefully he'll be open to some alternative ideas. He's never given much credence to alternative medecine but chronic pain can sometimes be a great mind-opener!
