Guest guest
Anyone any suggestion for a lady who miscarries at 5 weeks. 12 miscarriages in 10 years. Was told it might be due to incompatibility with husband. Tried hormones too. That time pregnancy lasted 10 weeks, but the baby stopped growing at 5 weeks. Poor diet, cannot eat vegetables or fruit at all, makes her sick. no meat, no fish, little dairy, no olive oil or fatty food. Eats lots of bread and potatoes. Very thin person. Drinks coffee lots, and fizzy drinks!!! Very constipated can stay days without emptying bowel. Not surprisingly. Doctors have found no abnormality in reproductive system though she had a blocked tube. No more. Thanks. Jocelyne
Guest guest
Sounds like the body's self preservation system is working well in aborting the baby it is asuring the body keeps recieving all the nutrients currently available. when the body is starving it will preserve itself with all its got.A subconcius decision could be happening to abort for the sake of the mothers survival.until she can improve her nutritional intake i dont hold too much hope for her or the child. Thats just my self diagnosis of the problem,i would be sure that Doc will have an answer to help her on the road to a better existance. Guest guest
I was thinking the exact same thing. How can the body produce another living thing when itself is in dire straights??? Guest guest
<<Poor diet, cannot eat vegetables or fruit at all, makes her sick>> I don't understand how veggies and fruit can make her sick???? Has she tried (or will she try) juicing her veggies/fruit? Sometimes people have a hard time digesting these foods, in this case juicing is ideal! She may also be having a reaction to pesticides if she is not eating organic, you may want to suggest the switch. I am assuming that if she can consume bread she can also consume whole grain cereals (may not be a safe assumption). This would be a good suggestion. If she can stomach hot oat bran with a little flax seed meal sprinkled on this would do wonders for her constipation. My ultimate conclusion is if she can not take care of her own body then how can she care for another. Please understand that I am not trying to be insensitive to the situation because I know all too well how it feels to miscarry, but there is definitely a reason for the miscarriages that may go beyond diet, although I know diet is 95% of the problem. Guest guest
This probably sounds incredibly harsh, but this person probably should not consider having children until the dietary deficiencies are changed. When a person is constipated most of the time & uses a lot of caffiene, a miscarriage is a near certainty. This thing about not being able to eat fruits or vegetables is not good, and needs to be remedied somehow. Perhaps there is a mental block of some sort, and that should be checked. In any event caffiene should be eliminated. This will mean a lot of vitamin supplementation will be needed. It's a difficult addiction to kick, especially when the rest of a diet is so bad. Some kind of vegetable extract supplement may also help. There are plenty of good ones out there. Guest guest
agree with below - ok if certain foods make her sick but what is she doing about it? sounds like she's not doing much to help herself if she can't get off the fizzy drinks and coffee. what about a gentle start with alfalfa tincture?????? and try for homeopathy with the 'mentals'--- Janice In herbal remedies, Michael Riversong <rivedu@e...> wrote: > This probably sounds incredibly harsh, but this person probably should not > consider having children until the dietary deficiencies are changed.
