Guest guest
Hi, I am curious if anyone here has had a problem with a dry flaky scalp and how you handled it. I looked thru the files and messages but did not find anything about remedies for a dry flaky scalp. Thanks, Chris

Guest guest
I use Rosemary oil. 5 drops in a cup of water or mix it half and half with a carior oil and rub about 6 drops in to your wet hair it also removes tangles so no need for conditioner. Guest guest
Dry flaky scalp is actually not what most people think. It is usually a symptom of liver weakness. So usually if you treat the liver, the scalp problems go away by themselves. Liver treatment can be as simple as increasing Vitamin A intake. That in turn can be done by eating more carrots. If that doesn't work, then you might need to use heavier herbs, like a mix of burdock, oregon grape root, and star anise (my favorite). There are a number of good liver herb combinations. Incidentally, some other common liver symptoms include rotator cuff pain without a specfic injury, nonspecific skin rashes, and a gritty feeling in the right eye.
