Guest guest
Hello, I have a friend whose son has eye parasites and the drs. tell her there is nothing that can be done. He is losing his sight. I know that something can be done. I have studied Dr. Christopher's teachings, and I have learned alot from this group. I was hoping that someone could give us some advice. I know what I would start doing but I need your added experience and knowledge. There is alot at stake, and I don't want to make a mistake. Thank you for helping if you can. Kathy. Guest guest
It would appear that anything that will wipe out a parasite in the eye would also be strong enough to damage the eye. That's the problem. Eye parasites are very rare in North America, so few doctors have any knowledge or experience. What you should do first, is try to find any doctor who has practiced in Africa, where this problem is common. Medicine Without Borders would be a good start. See if they have any members in your area. The only other thing that comes to mind is tea tree oil, but that can be very irritating. And of course there are always the traditional boric acid washes, but i don't know if that would be strong enough to get this particular parasite, whatever it is. What i want to know, is where and how did this happen? It is very alarming, and i really do need to get as much information as possible on what environmental factors were involved in this case. Please send as much info as you can, or get the mom in touch with me directly. This would be much appreciated. A mom called me this evening , she had taken her 13 year old son to the dr. She was told her son has a parasite in his eyes. It is eating away the eye. She was told there is nothing that can be done and her son will soon be blind. She wants help. Would you treat the eye parasite in the same way you would any other parasite? Thanks for your time and help. >Kathy. -- Michael Riversong ** Professional Harpist, Educator, and Writer ** RivEdu ** Phone: (307)635-0900 FAX (413)691-0399 http://home.earthlink.net/~mriversong
Guest guest
What about Doc's eye formula along with DMSO? It would sure be worth a try... Guest guest
Hi Michael, as for putting tea tree oil in the eye, I put it on the eye lid. I did it for one week without any problems. I had an infected gland in the eyelid at that time. It did sting just a bit, but went away really quickly. Just to let you know someone has experimented with tea tree oil on the eyelid. Guest guest
I'm really leery of putting DMSO directly in the eyes. Has anyone actually tried that? Guest guest
Michael, I used a mix of DMSO, Doc's eye formula and distilled water on my blind goat... She is still blind , however, the cloudiness that covered her eyes is almost gone. I think she had the blindness too long before I got her. But it is amazing how her eyes have cleared up. Just to look at her you would never know she was blind . Suzi Michael Riversong <rivedu wrote: I'm really leery of putting DMSO directly in the eyes. Patty I have had quite a bit of experience with EO's (I passed the national registry exam for aromatherapy) and I would not, under any circumstances put an EO (any EO) anywhere near my eyes. Guest guest
I'd do it in a serious case of Glaucoma in an emergency, but would still want to mix it with an herbal preparation if I could. The Eyebright formula is the best cause it has it in it.
