Guest guest
I have just started with light-therapy for depression while Im weaning off my anti-depressiva... And it works very well, even for the deep sleep I dont get enough of - fibromyalgia symptoms... So the question is..do any of you know of good light therapy products you can buy and have at home, or where they have good light-therapy? I am asking for another woman who want to try this and she dont know which of those products in cataloques are good... Since I live in Norway and she in USA....difficult for me to know whats good... Thanks for all answers I get Mar
Guest guest
Hello Mar, Below is a very informative sight re: healing with color & will give you an understanding of " how " & " why " ... As for products...the ones I have found are very expensive & it is far less costly & easier to make your own. Just get a good standing/floor reading lamp with swivel/directional head so you can " aim " it in various directions. Buy a " full spectrum " light bulb [available just about anywhere] and " gel color lenses " that will cover the opening of the shade in front of the bulb. [depending on lamp, usually 4-6 " ] A good craft store or photographic shop will have these. Green is definitely the first one to purchase. It is considered " neutral " and the main color for healing. The primary colors can be used for specific issues & the primaries can be stacked to introduce color combination [ex: red+blue=violet] for other issues. Hope you get a lot of guidance from this site...good luck. http://www.energybalancing.com/color.html?98,17 Namaste, Myrna
