Guest guest
Sorry that I didnt respond earlier..I didnt get this mail in my mailbox, so I found it today when I went to the website... I have just got a room with alot of windows...its not finished yet, so I will start when sun is here and light all 24 hours.... I will tell if I am able to grow it here :-) Norway is strict when its about herbs, yes. And high doses of vitamins too. It is the goverments department working with food and nutrition who decide this stuff.... They are so A4-thinking that they believe more in the lowest doses than to prevent with higher doses, " because we norwegians do have a good diet which give us all nutrition we need " ....grrrrr ....it irritates me, this belief...because its not true... Another thing I have to tell you, Michael...I looked at a ayurveda list today...it seems as I have remembered wrong, or perhaps the other info was wrong...because on that list, I am more vatta...with some pitta and very few on kapha....it was most of the vatta..exept my hair which are a combo of pitta and kapha..... Ok..I must search more about ayurveda..perhaps I figure out this stuff Bye so long Mar herbal remedies, Michael Riversong <rivedu@e...> wrote: > Do you have a good hothouse? Guest guest
Of course i will be very interested to know how this growing project works out. I know in northern climates, keeping a solar room can be difficult. Often, various insects and molds will grow and sometimes make life unbearable. So one has to be very attentive. In the Bau-Biologie field (i understand there is an institute in Norway somewhere) we are warned to make sure that the room can breathe, meaning that even during the coldest times there should be some fresh air coming in. The best heat for this type of room is to have some kind of pipes in the floor. This can be either hot water or air, even heated by a wood stove system. Many European governments are working from an ever-changing document called " Codex Alimentarus " . This is where many of the regulations you mentioned originate. It is my understanding that this document is mainly created by representatives of pharmaceutical companies. As for Ayurveda, the best way to figure out your type is always to learn the basic system and apply it it yourself. It is all too easy for me to make mistakes from 7000 miles away. Also, be aware that there are combination types. A person may be mostly one type but have several characteristics of another. In those cases, working out the proper diet is much more difficult.
