Guest guest
Have been trying to find something to help my father - he was bitten by what is believed to be a Brown Recluse Spider 4 mos ago and his arm looks terrible still. The damage is half the size of what it used to be but it's still a deep red, tough and leathery feeling. When you rub the skin where the damage is, the skin feels THICK - like leather. Any suggestions anyone? Dotsie

Any suggestions anyone? My friend was bitten by one in her rose garden and this is what she was told to do by her M.D. (this was year's ago) Pour hydrogen peroxide on the bite and allow it to " boil " . Rinse with water. Repeat 2-3 times. Do this 2x per day. I don't know if this still applies, but it worked for her as well as my parents when they were also bitten a few weeks later (must have been a bad year for them). Guest guest
for the insect bites you could use APIS MELLIFICA in D6 homeopathyc dosage, and locally around the sticking place you could use ARNICA MONTANA cream several times a day good luck
Guest guest
Wow, 4 months. Those critters can be vicious. When it's gone on this long, the best bet is Golden Seal ointment of some sort. There are many ways it can be prepared. You could even go so far as to just sprinkle some powder into some Vitamin E oil and rub it on several times a day. I have noticed that putting a covering, like a bandage, over the area after putting on the ointment both makes it work better and saves shirt sleeves. Guest guest
Dear Dotsie, He should defintely be on Total Tonic and Echinacea. Give him lots of garlic in his food as well. The Deep Tissue Repair Oil applied to the skin will help dramatically there and should clear it up fast. Apply extra DMSO if needed. DMSO is a free radical fighter second to none. Guest guest
This is a great one, Michael. I make a concoction out of 50% Vit E oil (from Costco), 50% aloe vera gel (from the refrigerator at the HFS -- forget the stuff that doesn't need refrigeration), and an capsule of Goldenseal Root. I just made it up out of my head one day; it just made good sense to me. I put it in an empty squeeze bottle, shake it up, and keep it on the 'fridge door. Looks gross -- works great! It's great for kitchen burns -- better than anything the hospital gives out, as both my son and myself have discovered. It's great for " owies " on animals and people. My dog got surgery, and he yiped in pain every time he sat down. I patted a little of this over the surgical cut, and the yiping stopped right away. If an animal licks it off, who cares? It's as good for them inside as outside. I had a friend visiting, and his band-aid was coming off. He'd ding- ed up his hand working in the woodshop. I got him a new band-aid, washed him up and applied this stuff. He phoned me back the next day and said, " That stuff was GREAT! I've never healed up so fast in my life. What was in that stuff? " LOL! Melinda

Do you think this stuff " expires " after a time? Would it be good for 6 months or more like most OTC meds? still new at all this and wanting so badly to learn, Lori Send FREE video emails in Mail! http://promo./videomail/
