Dear PJ,

Absolutely! The longer you let it perk, the better it gets. 2 weeks is the minimum unless an emergency crops up.

I once bought too much Echinacea root at one time and tinctured all of it and ended up with about 18 gallons of the stuff. I pressed it as I needed it over the years, and boy, was that last batch potent! Phewww! ;o)

Love,

Doc

[herbal remedies] pressing tinctures

Doc, Is it ok to leave the tincture mixture unpressed? Or must it be pressed in 2 weeks? I was under the impression that the longer it was left unpressed the better it would become, but I am not sure. Thanks. pj
