Guest guest
I had heard somewhere that cayenne could cure bad breath. Since I had been embarrassed by this condition for some 30 years, I hurried to try this out. ( I had already taken antibiotics, very strong stuff, twice, to try to cure this in case it was caused by inflamed tonsils--didn't work at all). I intended to have my tonsils removed, but was told that I would lose probably 3 months work so could not do this. So I bought $.50 worth of cayenne at the herbalist shop and downed one packed 00 capsule with some food. Result----bad breath totally eliminated. But it started back shortly so I popped another one. Thereafter, for many weeks, I used a cayenne cap with every meal or snak, up to 4 per day. A few times it gave me indigestion, but this seemed like nothing at all compared with the freedom to speak to others without embarassment. Eventually I noticed I was getting blisters on my lips that I couldn't get rid of so I quit altogether for about a month. The blisters left after a week or so. Then I restarted at lower doses(I forget just what) until some young people entered a room I was in and one mentioned that she smelled pepper really strong. So now I only take a pepper once in a while. It does definitely improve my digestion, but I don't want to smell like peppers. Not that strongly, anyway. Regarding cayenne rectally----- As I have already posted, I only experienced a cooling sensation when using it this way. I only used it a few times like this and didn't notice anything other than that. I think we don't have any pain nerves in the digestive system--right? And since I did get blistered lips taking it orally, it might be doing something not readily observable, so we probably should not get too enthusiastic with this. Others more knowledgeable than I please feel free to give your opinions. It sure is wonderful to not have bad breath anymore!!! pj Check out Shopping and Auctions for all of your unique holiday gifts! Buy at or bid at http://auctions.
