Guest guest
<Your tip on the nettle was much appreciated> Nice that I could be of any help <Do you belong to any MCS/CFS/ chemical injury lists? There are two good ones that I know of if you're interested I can send you the info. Both are like this one.. sharing information and support.> No, I dont belong to any of those lists. Its because I have recently found out that I do have chemical sensitivity. It started 2 years ago, and I havent been diagnosed with it *yet* <how I would go into my office where I had all pressedwood furniture ... and my computer...spend about an hour or two in there.....and when I got up from my chair went down on the floor like a rock. I would crawl to the bathroom..then into the tub...and take a bath. Eventually I would get back some of my ability to walk by the next day. Then as time went on.. I started to get rid of that toxic furniture.. and stay off the computer (was very IMF sensitive at one time). When we threw out the furniture and I started getting rid of toxic chemicals in my home.. I was able to walk again. To this day.. I stay far away from formaldehyde for one. and bicycle daily.> Thank you for sharing this with me. I do have some pressedwood furniture in my home. Not much, but some few. It will take some time for me to get rid of those, but I at least do have a goal <I tried MSN a couple of years ago a few different brands but it never agreed with me. Not sure I'm ready to swallow a whole garlic clove...but I'll keep it in mind Wouldn't that cause terrible heartburn if you're prone to it?> I only get a strange feeling from stomach some few times, but thats all. And it seems as heartburns stay away when I take garlic. But I do take nettle too, so... <You're so right that it is a tough situation most don't seem to understand. I find most of my solace with my cats and my music I have found out the hard way that mainstream medicine seems to be the kiss of death! I hope you have a support system..family? a couple of good friends? In any case...you can always write me. I may be a little slow getting back some of the time.. but I most definitely will!> My family do understand that I react on chemical stuff. Not that they remember I cant tolerate perfumes, but, but...they dont use it much. My boyfriend do understand, so he dont use perfumes at home (we live together). But he do still have this neeeeeeed to use perfume when he go out and visit someone or something like that....luckily enough it doesnt happen often We like to be at home most of time, hehe... I havent been much with my friends, so they arent yet aware of that I do have this problem. My best friend dont use perfumes....well, I havent had reactions when I am with her I am too slow to reply, so no problems About herbs and other remedies: I bought green clay powder today. To have in water and drink it. Have heard it is sooo good for digest system and for detoxifying...so I will try it for awhile. It will be exiting to see what happens Hugs from Marit
