Guest guest
Greetings. I overheard mention of progesterone properties within wild yam on a Discover channel program the other night. I am very interested in finding out more info, but am not able to locate any such info either on the web or my books thus far. Could anybody shed some light on this? Or any other herbals that have such properties? Graciously, Clove ~You already hold the key to everything you wish to become. Guest guest
I know someone would have to kill me to get my wild yam from me! It's probably the best thing I've found and both cream and tincture form seem to work equally well. I think the tincture is more cost effective, though. Love, Ann in Memphis (41 and mellow, thanks to wild yam)
Guest guest
Wild Yam is a widely used herb in Chinese medicine. I have noticed that it often serves to " tone up " the female system in general. It is used both in menopause and when there is any difficulty among younger women. Its action tends to be very gentle and gradual. Most Chinese shops in America have it. At 10:09 AM 12/11/01 -0800, you wrote: >Greetings. I have endometreosis(sp?) and I have heard that the progesterone is what levels my hormones out. Without my pills I am a crazy, sick wreck. If wild yam does what I think it does, this might just be the trick without having to take a synthetic form. Clove ~You already hold the key to everything you wish to become. Guest guest
Clove, I might add that I didn't have any problems before taking wild yam. I started out with the lotion and when I ran out, I felt like a " wild woman " . Getting caught at a traffic light would send me into a tailspin-things like that. Last month I was unable to get the lotion anymore, so I went to the tincture. I like the tincture a lot more. My health food store has it and I also know of a website where you can get it, it you want it. Doc has a couple of female tinctures you may want to ask him about. I bet one of those would be just what you need. Love, Ann

You have been most helpful. :-) Doc, I have looked thru the files and saw info on menopause, but nothing on other ailments. Any suggestions? I do not want a 'birth control' persay, just a hormone balancer so that my endometreosis is not so horrible. Graciously, Clove ~You already hold the key to everything you wish to become. Guest guest
Toast! This is not only advertising, but MLM to boot with a ton of misleading data and hoopla!!!!!!!!! Who in hell wants to simply "Reduce" symtoms??????????? of blah, blah, blah. Sheeeeeesh! Doc PS. By the way, PMS, Menopause, puberty, and others are handled way better with a tincture that contains Wild Yam than these creams do. I've checked 'em. Sometimes they "help", but mostly they are JUNK!!! and never lead to a permanent healing.
