Guest guest Posted December 11, 2001 Report Share Posted December 11, 2001 Hi All, I have an interesting scenario but nothing has helped my poor kid. He is 9 but 120 lbs. He's 5'2 " . I am telling you his size because I need a good idea for how much of anything to give him. He has had a cold for that started as an allergy for over 2 months. After a month he was put on anitbotics because of a very bad sinus infection and broncitius (sp). He also is on concerta for ADHD. After ahile the antibotics worked and he was getting better. We are now a week and half later and he is coughing and sneezing horribly again. I don't think anything conventional is working fo rthis child. What can I do now? We have a health food store that isn't too far I was going to check out. (Homeopathy) . The one thing is he can't have goldenseal as he is extremely allergic to ragweed. Well, sorry this is a book. It's hard to find a polite way to say this, but you have been hoodwinked. Concerta is just Ritalin in another package, and as such it is a highly addictive and damaging hard drug. Anyone who prescribes it should not be in medical practice, and probably should not be walking free among the rest of society. Did your doctor tell you that Ritalin is chemically related to methamphetamine, an illegal drug? Did your doctor tell you that Ritalin has been known to depress the immune system, stunt growth, cause insomnia, and has been linked to some incurable conditions? Did your doctor tell you that the general response to Ritalin is very similar to that of cocaine, another illegal drug? These are just a few of the things that, by law, you should have been told. The fraud and corruption surrounding the whole ADHD situation is absolutely apalling. Bone up on what's really going on, and you will get fighting mad. If what i have said scares the jeepers out of you, it should. The situation is actually much worse than i have described. Until your kid is safely off hard drugs and detoxified, no amount of herbal, homeopathic, chiropractic, or naturopathic advice will do any good. For those of you who have been offended because i pulled my punches and was not angry and radical enough in this post, i apologize. It's been a rough day. There is NO such disease as ADHD and the Concerta is most likely a major factor in contributing to his continued illnesses. The Psychs are the worst of the Allopaths as far as treating symtoms are concerned. It is not unusual for a child with allergies to be diagnosed with ADD or ADHD. These "diseases" were created by the Psychs in order to introduce their drugs into the public school system. VERY DESTRUCTIVE!!!!!!!!!! #2. Without meaning to be authoritarian here, and I say this as gentle as I can, but you need to get rid of some false data, and re-educate yourself in the area of natural healing. I suggest you give me a call, when you get the chance as I have many questions for you in regards his diet. The bottom line here is that you CAN do something about this to turn it around. And it doesn't have to take a year or cost you an arm and a leg. There are many home remedies that you can whup up in the kitchen sink that would help him tremendously. Also, when I hear that a person is allergic to an herb like Goldenseal, I suspect he's had a history of pharmaceuticals which are contributing to his 'allergies'. Believe it or not, Goldenseal may be the one herb that can turn him around in the long run though I'd have to give you the background understanding of why this is.
